Energy Conservation video...Messaging for Kids

1. Who do you think are the target audience of this clip?
Answer: The kids are the target audience for this clip.


2. What do you think are the main key messages that the clip is trying to communicate?
Answer: The main key messages are to switch your bulbs to CFL bulbs to save energy along with practicing energy saving habits.


3. Do you think the clip is effective? Why or why not?
Answer: I think the clip is effective as it comes in a cartoon clip form so that children will be more attracted to watch it and learn the values the clip is trying to teach them.


4. How do you think the messaging/clip could be further improved?
Answer: It could be further improved by show more examples of energy saving habits.

Energy Conservation Video

1. What do you think are some of the limitations of using renewable energy resources, based on the clip that you have seen?
Answer: These renewable energy resources need different types of equipment to produce, and those types of equipment usually take up a lot of space, so if we run out of space to put these equipment, we cannot produce more energy.


2. What are some possible solutions that the video have suggested?
Answer: The possible solutions were to put smaller turbines nearer to the residential area and the gigantic ones further away.


3. How do you think Energy Conservation messages can be communicated effectively in the school or local context? Give or suggest some examples.
Answer: We can have talks based on 'Energy Saving' and events to practice these methods in school or at home.

3 Things I have learned in today's lesson

Sketching is a way to communicate with others through our drawings and sketching alone is not sufficient to communicate with someone fully. We can measure the effectiveness of our sketches by seeing how many people are able to understand what you are drawing.
